Terms of Use
Last updated November 7, 2026
These terms explain the rules for using QuickCamp. Please read the safety section before you travel.
Agreement to these terms
These terms apply to your use of QuickCamp (quickcamp.us). By using QuickCamp, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use QuickCamp. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
What QuickCamp is
QuickCamp is a trip-planning tool. It plots a driving route and shows campgrounds, hikes, points of interest, and safety alerts near it. QuickCamp is not a booking agent, a navigation system, or an emergency alert service. Campsites are booked on the operator’s own site, and QuickCamp does not take payment for them.
Safety comes first
Use QuickCamp for planning only. Weather, fire, flood, smoke, and road conditions change quickly, and the alerts and routes shown may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong.
- Always follow official instructions, closures, and evacuation orders.
- In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
- Check that roads, bridges, and campsites suit your vehicle, including RVs and trailers, before you go.
- Hikes and outdoor activities carry real risks. You are responsible for your own safety and for the people traveling with you.
Third-party information and sites
Campground, trail, and alert information comes from third parties, including Recreation.gov, OpenStreetMap, Google, the National Weather Service, NASA FIRMS, and USGS. We do not control this information and cannot guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or current. Availability shown is not a reservation. Links to other sites are provided for convenience, and those sites have their own terms and privacy policies. QuickCamp is not affiliated with Recreation.gov or any government agency.
Google Maps
QuickCamp uses Google Maps features. Your use of those features is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
AI features
Some features, such as AI Scout, use artificial intelligence to suggest and describe places. These suggestions can be wrong or out of date. Check important details, such as hours, access, and safety, with the place or an official source.
Accounts
- You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under 18, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
- Use an email address you control, and keep access to it secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.
Acceptable use
When using QuickCamp, do not:
- Use bots or automated tools to collect data in bulk, or copy QuickCamp’s data to build a competing service.
- Get around rate limits, access controls, or Premium restrictions.
- Interfere with QuickCamp’s servers or other people’s use of QuickCamp.
- Reverse engineer QuickCamp, except where the law allows it.
- Use QuickCamp for anything illegal, or to harass or harm others.
We may limit, suspend, or close access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Your trips
You keep ownership of the trips, names, and stops you create. You give QuickCamp permission to store and display them as needed to run the service, including to anyone you share a trip link with.
Premium plans
Some features are available only with QuickCamp Premium. The price, billing period, and any taxes are shown on the checkout page before you pay.
- Billing. Premium is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. It renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. We will email you before any price change takes effect on your plan.
- Free trials. Your first Premium plan may start with a free trial. The trial length and the date of your first charge are shown before you subscribe. We collect a card at the start; if you cancel from Account → Manage plan before the trial ends, you will not be charged. One trial per account.
- Promotional prices. A promotion (for example Black Friday or a code from a link) lowers the price for the period it states, such as your first year, as shown at checkout. After that, your plan renews at the regular price unless the promotion says it continues. Promotions cannot be combined and may end at any time.
- Cancelling. You can cancel any time from Account → Manage plan. Premium stays on until the end of the period you already paid for, and you will not be charged again.
- Refunds. Payments are generally not refundable for partly used periods. If you were charged by mistake or something went wrong, contact us within 14 days and we will make it right. This does not limit any refund rights you have under the law where you live.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it for a few days. If it still fails, Premium ends and your account goes back to free. Your saved trips stay.
- Changes to features. We may add, change, or remove Premium features over time. If we remove something central to Premium, you can cancel and ask for a refund of the unused part of your current period.
Advertising
QuickCamp may show ads. Advertisers are responsible for their ads and for the products and services they offer. Seeing an ad on QuickCamp is not an endorsement.

Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
Changes to QuickCamp
We may change, add, or remove features, or stop offering QuickCamp, at any time.
Disclaimers
QuickCamp is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, QuickCamp will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your travel, your reliance on information shown in QuickCamp, or third-party sites and services. QuickCamp’s total liability for any claim related to QuickCamp is limited to the greater of the amount you paid QuickCamp in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnity
If your misuse of QuickCamp or breach of these terms leads to a claim against QuickCamp, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless the law where you live gives you a different right.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will give notice on QuickCamp or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use QuickCamp after a change means you accept the updated terms.
