Privacy Policy
Last updated November 7, 2026
This policy explains what information QuickCamp collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
The short version
- You can plan a route as a guest without an account.
- If you create an account, we keep your email address, saved trips, and settings so they follow you between devices.
- We use analytics to understand how QuickCamp is used. We may show ads from Google, which use cookies.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- You can delete your account at any time.
Who we are
QuickCamp (quickcamp.us) helps people find campgrounds, hikes, and safety information along a driving route. QuickCamp is operated from Texas, United States. In this policy, “QuickCamp,” “we,” and “us” mean the operator of quickcamp.us.
Questions about privacy can go to privacy@quickcamp.us.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Email address, if you create an account. We use it to send sign-in codes and to identify your account.
- Routes, places, and trips you enter, including saved trips, trip names, custom stops, and filter choices.
- Messages you send us by email, and bug reports you send from the Contact page: your email address, what you wrote, the route or place and screenshot if you add them, and your browser type.
Information collected when you use QuickCamp
- Searches. The routes and places you search for are sent to map providers so we can plot the road and find places near it.
- Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This comes from our servers’ logs, our analytics tools, and, if ads are shown, our advertising partners.
What we do not collect
- QuickCamp does not ask for your device’s GPS location.
- QuickCamp never sees or stores your card details. Premium payments are handled by Stripe on its own checkout page; we only keep whether your plan is active, which plan it is, and when it renews or ends.
How we use information
- To plot routes and show campgrounds, hikes, Scout finds, and safety alerts along them.
- To run accounts: sending sign-in codes, saving trips and settings, and syncing them across devices.
- To keep QuickCamp secure and reliable, including rate limits and preventing abuse.
- To understand how QuickCamp is used and improve it.
- To show ads, as described below.
- To respond to you and to meet legal obligations.
Services that help run QuickCamp
We share information with these providers only as needed for them to do their part:
| Provider | What it does | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Google Maps Platform | Maps, routes, place search, and place details | The routes and places you search, and your IP address when the map loads in your browser |
| Supabase | Account sign-in | Your email address |
| Resend | Sends sign-in code emails and bug report replies | Your email address, and for bug reports, the report you sent |
| Stripe | Premium payments, receipts, and plan management | Your email address, your QuickCamp account ID, and the card or payment details you enter on Stripe's checkout page |
| Railway | Hosts the QuickCamp servers and database | Account data, saved trips, and server logs |
| Cloudflare | Domain name and DNS | No information about your visits |
| Google Analytics | Usage statistics | Pages viewed, device and browser details, and an analytics cookie |
| Google AdSense | Shows ads | Pages viewed, IP address, device and browser details, and advertising cookies. Personalized ads only with consent where the law requires it. |
| OpenAI | AI Scout suggestions for Premium accounts | Place names, map area, and route context for the request. Not your email address. |
To find campgrounds, availability, and alerts, our servers also request data from public sources such as Recreation.gov, OpenStreetMap, the National Weather Service, NASA FIRMS, and USGS. Those requests come from our servers and include the area or campground being looked up, not your identity.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will give notice on QuickCamp or by email before it takes effect.
